A 40-member delegation from Thailand, headed by researchers from Chulalongkorn University, visited the Osaka City University Faculty of Medicine on 18 May 2016. They were welcomed in the main conference room at the 18^th floor of the Faculty building. After a welcome speech by Professor Kenji Ohata (Dean of the Faculty and Graduate School of Medicine) and an introduction of the participating members from OCU the group discussed the subject of medical education and research.

At the end of the meeting the visiting delegation presented OCU with a beautiful memorial gift and a group photo was taken.

Chulalongkorn University and Osaka City University signed a university-wide academic exchange agreement in March 2013. OCU also established a Bangkok Office, located within the Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts. It is our aim to further develop the relationship between Thailand and Japan through academic exchange initiatives like this.
