“The 69th Ginnan (Gingko) Festival” was held at Osaka City University (OCU) Sugimoto Campus on Friday, 1 November until Monday, 4 November, 2019. Held every year in November, it is the largest student-oriented event.

This year’s theme, “New Era from 0 to 1”, was chosen to celebrate the new Japanese imperial era “Reiwa” with hopes that everyone would enjoy the festival in refreshed mood.

The four-day Ginnan Festival, blessed with gorgeous weather, was lined with a lot of refreshment stands, had many stage performances and various programs in the surrounding classrooms.

Many people from the community also visited and enjoyed the events organized by the students.
